740,000 1-day vignettes have been sold since August

This year, the Slovak motorway authority has introduced the 1-day motorway vignette in Slovakia. Almost 740,000 1-day vignettes have been sold since its launch until now. Despite being introduced only in the second half of 2024, the 1-day vignette has become the third best-selling vignette in Slovakia, with the 10-day vignette still being the most popular one.

A new edition of electronic motorway vignettes for the year 2025 has been introduced

As of today, motorists can purchase the new edition of the electronic motorway vignette 2025. Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (the National Motorway Company, hereinafter referred to as “NDS”), has launched the sale of electronic motorway vignettes with updated prices and also introduced several changes concerning the offer of the e-vignettes.

A new edition of motorway vignettes for 2026 has been introduced

Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (National Motorway Company, hereafter referred to as “NDS”) is continuously working on updating its motorway vignette sales system. Since taking over the system under its management, several changes have been introduced to improve user comfort and simplify the purchase of motorway vignettes.

The 1-day vignette will be available for drivers in Slovakia from August 2024. The 1-year vignette will no longer be sold.

Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (the National Motorway Company, hereinafter referred to as „NDS“) has officially launched the pre-sale of the 1-day motorway vignette. The new vignette is already available in pre-sale, however, it will not be valid before 1 August 2024. At the same time, NDS will stop selling the 1-year vignette on 1 August 2024. However, the 365-day, 30-day and 10-day vignettes will remain valid.
