Motorists can use the entire outer bypass of Bratislava on the D4 motorway free of charge

Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (National Motorway Company, hereafter referred to as “NDS”) recently put the entire D1 and D4 motorway interchange near Bratislava into operation. The interchange has eight branches that enable transit traffic from all directions to avoid passing through the city. Last but not least, it significantly makes life easier for drivers who need to get from one Bratislava district to another. The entire outer bypass of Bratislava on the D4 motorway can be used by passenger vehicles free of charge. However, this does not apply to trucks, which are required to pay toll charges according to standard rules.
