Following a vignette payment you find errors in the vehicle registration data and you do not know how to correct them
Pursuant to the relevant provisions of the General Business Terms and Conditions of Vignette Payment of the Vignette Payment Collection Administrator, the responsibility of the provided data upon a vignette payment lies with the user exclusively (see the definition of the term “User” and “Vignette Payment Collection Administrator” in detail in the Vignettes section, subsection Glossary of terms). The user is also responsible for the implementation of one vignette payment for one unique registration number of a vehicle/trailer and for the validity of one vignette payment (i.e., one type of vignette). As a result, the user is obliged to check, before or immediately after a vignette payment, all the data that they provide.
Pursuant to the relevant provisions of the General Business Terms and Conditions of Vignette Payment of the Vignette Payment Collection Administrator, if the registration data of the vehicle/trailer provided by the user is inaccurate and/or incomplete (i.e., there is an error or a typo in the registration number and/or the country of vehicle registration), the user is obliged to notify the Vignette Payment Collection Administrator of correction, supplementation and/or amendment of the vehicle registration data immediately after discovering this fact:
- For vignette payments made via the web portal or mobile application, this must be done no later than the end of the calendar day on which the payment was made or before the start of the vignette’s validity period.
- For vignette payments made at Points of Sale with staff, notification must be made no later than 15 minutes after the payment.
After the expiry of the aforementioned periods, a Request for data correction in the Vignette Payment Records (excluding 1-day vignettes) can be submitted via the web portal or at selected Points of Sale, the list of which is available on the web portal. This must be done within the vignette’s validity period.
The applicant will complete the form Request for data correction in the Vignette Payment Records, and, upon request of the Vignette Payment Collection Administrator, he is also obliged to submit the following documents establishing the eligibility of the correction of the vehicle registration number and/or the country of registration of the vehicle/trailer:
- confirmation of the vignette payment,
- vehicle registration certificate,
- confirmation of a non-existent vehicle/vehicle combination registration number issued by the competent national authority with access to the Register of Vehicles of the State concerned.
A request for the correction of vehicle data in the vignette payment records can be submitted by the customer to the Service Provider within a time period specified in the General Business Terms and Conditions of the Vignette Payment Collection Administrator in the following ways:
- at a Point of Sale where the vignette was paid
(in this case the request for the correction of vehicle data in the vignette payment records will be carried out directly by POS staff); - directly through the web portal www.eznamka.sk – subsection "Requests, suggestions, claims“ > type of submission "Request" > "Request for correction of vehicle data in the vignette payment records"
(in this case it is necessary to submit all the specified documents in electronic form).
The Service Provider, if the Request for the correction of vehicle data in the vignette payment records is reasonable, will implement the correction of the licence-plate number and/or the country of registration of the vehicle/trailer in the vignette payment records and will issue a certificate for the applicant called Confirmation of vignette data amendment, which will be sent in PDF format to the contact email address of the applicant. On request, the POS staff will issue this document for the applicant in a hard copy as well. If the applicant filled in mobile contact details as well, confirmation of the adjustment of vignette data will also be sent via SMS.
Detailed information about the correction of vehicle data in the vignette payment records can be found/obtained by customers:
- by phone via the Customer Service Line of the Service Provider on the telephone number 02 32777 777 (calls from abroad: +421 2 32777 777), where the operators will explain all issues related to the conditions and submission of the relevant requests. The availability of the Customer Service Line for different languages can be found in the Contacts section.
All rights and obligations of customers in the correction of vehicle data in the vignette payment records are regulated by the relevant provisions of the General Business Terms and Conditions of the Vignette Payment Collection Administrator, which are available in the Customer services section, subsection Documents for download.
