The adoption of the updated General Terms and Conditions of Electronic Vignette Payment of the Electronic Vignette Payment Collection Administrator has led to the simplification of several procedures such as the refund of vignette payment or the correction of an error in the entered vehicle registration number. Moreover, everything can be done electronically via the Eznamka.sk web portal

As of August 1, 2024, motorway bypasses of several cities in Slovakia will be exempt from motorway charges. It means that a total of 200 km of motorways will be made available to drivers without the need to purchase the motorway vignette. This change aims to relieve the traffic overload in bigger cities and to redirect the transit traffic from the city centers to the bypasses.

Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (the National Motorway Company, hereinafter referred to as „NDS“) has officially launched the pre-sale of the 1-day motorway vignette. The new vignette is already available in pre-sale, however, it will not be valid before 1 August 2024. At the same time, NDS will stop selling the 1-year vignette on 1 August 2024. However, the 365-day, 30-day and 10-day vignettes will remain valid.

As of 2024, the company Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (the National Motorway Company) has successfully taken over the control over the sale of motorway vignettes. The company manages the sales online as well as via hundreds of points of sale. In the first 3 months of 2024, it has sold 1 241 091 electronic motorway vignettes (e-Vignettes) through these channels, this represents an increase of almost 10 % in comparison to the first quarter of 2023.

Over the past few days, Národná diaľničná spoločnosť (the National Motorway Company) has received several complaints concerning fake text messages about the motorway vignette. The fraudulent messages inform about unpaid invoices, unpaid fines or additional payments for the motorway vignette. These messages do not come from the National Motorway Company.

Od stycznia 2021 r. weszła w życie dyrektywa unijna PSD2 (Payment Service Directive 2), która przyniosła zmiany dotyczące bezpieczeństwa i ujednolicenia usług płatniczych wewnątrz Unii Europejskiej.

Od 1 lutego 2020 r. SkyToll zgodnie z obowiązującym ustawodawstwem rozszerza swoją ofertę elektronicznych winiet autostradowych.

Kierowcy od 21.12.2019 r. mogą uiścić opłatę za elektroniczną winietę autostradową (eDZ) na rok 2020. Cena winiet autostradowych nie ulega zmianie.

Przychody ze sprzedaży elektronicznych winiet autostradowych wzrosły przez 12 miesięcy w 2018 roku o 5,06%, a już w listopadzie sprzedaż osiągnęła wartości łącznych przychodów z 2017 r. (72,6 mln EUR bez VAT(netto)).

Od 15.12. do końca 2018 r. pobito rekord sprzedaży przede wszystkim na naszych granicznych miejscach informacyjno – sprzedażowych, gdzie sprzedano elektroniczne winiety autostradowe w łącznej wysokości 275 622 EUR bez VAT (netto).
